Obama should thank Bush, a $4T gift

Obama wanted to spread the wealth around and has virtually been passed on a carte blanche to do so by the conservative movement.

In the US fiasco, the conservatives have so expanded public sector spending, with 2 wars and the 3T TARP at home, that it will in fact be difficult for Obama to spend it all.

Couldn't have wished for a better gift from Bush?

That's yet another reason Obama won. Years of a Republican majority, allowed them to get fat and forget they were the party that promised smaller govt. So they left a gaping hole for Democrats to drive a truck through.

Obama should read up on the Laffer curve before he pushes tax hikes of any kind, but hey... who cares? I'm not part of the evil rich. ;-)

I'm learning there's a lot of wealth to be had in being a socialist these days, in the U.S. You can vote yourself "stuff" and have other people pay for it.

So ya... it's certainly something I'm looking in to. ;-)

The latest drama is fun. VW became the largest company in the world, in terms of market cap, ahead of EXXON on a little financial market coup d'etat orchestrated by Porsche.
