PS3, loving it!

I just have to put a word in for the PS3. It is a superb console and the games are getting quickly better.

I am completely blown away by the graphics engine. It is so good that travelling through NYC in Spiderman3 (the game) makes the whole game. I just finished Call of Duty, that was a great game.

I have enjoyed my PSP, my XBox 360 (Gears of War, what a great game) and I even am enjoying the WII. But after all the noise settles down, for my tastes, the PS3 is the winner hands down.

And the best part of it? It is absolutely silent, it is good citizen in the bedroom. I remember why I like Sony.

Lovin it, any games you guys recommend? any console listed above is game :)

Currently trying to figure out the latest Need for Speed. It is like Fast & Furious...story-line and all. I like it.

PS3 has proven too slow and unstable. I have seen too many sequences stall when there are lots of details to render. Seems like developers do not yet know how to write games efficiently for it--same problem the PS2 originally suffered from

Even if you don't like football (soccer) I recommend Mario Strikers Charged Football for the Wii. It's not exactly a football game, but it's really fun, and can be played online.

If you enjoy throwback-ish arcade games you will really like Blast Factor. Extremely addictive. Great little game DLable for $3.99. I would also strongly recommend Resistance: Fall of Man (it doesn't stress the PS3 capabilities but still a fun FPS)

Quake 2 in split screen (if you're playing it locally with a friend), or Quake 4 over the network.

(XBox 360)

PS: Playing it with the computer is no fun. You need to have human partners ...

I have installed the Wii in the kitchen for the boys and Elvira and they are playing bowling with it :) and it is good for their fine motor skills to boot. I play "rayman dumb bunnies" with Elvira and that game is starting to be wicked hard.

I tried Prince of Persia on Wii, which I have loved on the GC, but I was really dissapointed with the graphics on the wii, just no appeal, and I quickly gave it up.

I am thinking about Pirates on the Wii or the PS3. I would have high hopes for the graphics in both cases. I am seeing them being advertised.

Fight Night 3 is the game -- I have it on the 360 but no Floyd Mayweather --supposedly the PS3 version has him! Resistance fall of man of course -- graphics are great! Alec likes both Basketball games (PS3 vs 360) and each have their finer points. The graphics on both are amazing. I'm looking forward to Lair (the dragon game). Also Cubert :-) for PS3 and galaga for the 360 :-)

BTW you might want to get an intercooler for your 360 since it is an earlier model. Mine just burnt up. Since yours is signed I think that would probably be a bigger deal to you than it was to me.

But you HAVE to check out folding at home. Want to run an idea past you once you do.

Guitar Hero II for XBox 360.. I haven't put it down since I got it. I'm "Arcane Law" on XBox Live.. come see if you can beat my career score ;)

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a must buy. Motorstorm is much better with the downloadable Time Attack add-on.

The biggest score, though, is Super Stardust HD. Completely addictive. Best $8 spent on a game.
